Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week, November 4-10, 2018

Keeping up its tradition of requiring employees and contractors to follow the highest of standards, Molecular Testing Labs announced today that it will be celebrating Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week,  organized each year by the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics &  Health Care Compliance Association. (SCCE & HCCA)  This year it is being held November 4 through 10, 2018. As a part of its efforts, Molecular Testing Labs will host a “Price Is Right” game. These will be real examples of compliance violations and employees will match them with the correct punishments. Tuesdays’ event is based on “Compliance Is Sweet” with treats and posters placed in the break room for employees to reflect on compliance. Thursday is reserved for “Hungry, Hungry HIPAA” tournament. Molecular Testing Labs’ Compliance and Ethics Program requires annual training, the program is governed by Molecular Testing Lab’s Compliance Committee and is based on the 7 Pillars of Compliance as established by the U.S. Sentencing Commission.

Dave Delong, Head of Compliance said “At Molecular Testing Labs, we are committed to establishing compliance and ethics as key elements of our values and our culture. We expect all employees, contractors, and agents of the lab to conduct themselves with the utmost integrity.”

Corporate Compliance and Ethics Week is an extension of Molecular Testing Lab’s ongoing compliance and ethics program, which is headed by Dave DeLong.  Molecular Testing Labs has a code of conduct that all employees are expected to follow.  The code says, “Employees are expected to behave with honesty, integrity, and transparency and to conform to all legal requirements.”

Company-wide compliance and ethics education, held annually provides the opportunity to roll out new and updated compliance and ethics program policies and reinforces with employees their compliance and ethics’ obligations.
